Conditions We Treat
Low Back Pain
Nearly 1/2 of all American workers admit to struggling with back pain. Without proper treatment, lower back pain will increase over time due to bone spurs, weakness of musculature, arthritis, and disc herniation. Unfortunately, many medical interventions do not adequately correct lower back pain and unnecessary surgeries are all too common. At Creekside Chiropractic, we understand the urgency and the necessity in alleviating your low back pain. Over the years we have had a tremendous amount of success resolving our patients back pain issues. We look forward to helping you overcome this disabling condition.
Neck Pain and Headaches
Neck pain is a miserable. It effects every part of your day and nearly 80% of the American population suffers from this terrible condition. Neck pain is known to irritate the nerves causing debilitating headaches. It can also cause tight muscles, upper back pain, numbness in the arms and hands, and a lessening range of motion. At Creekside Chiropractic, we understand the steps necessary to realigning the neck and reestablishing a proper function in the neck. Our primary goal in treating neck pain is to alleviate it once and for all. You no longer need to suffer. Come in today.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is characterized as pain, numbness, and tingling in the forearm, wrist, and hand. It can often be disabling and can result in atrophy of the hand muscles and mild to severe loss of function. Unfortunately, this syndrome is often misdiagnosed as the problem can come from nerve entrapment above the wrist level. At Creekside Chiropractic, we understand the care necessary to greatly alleviating carpal tunnel pain without the often ineffective method of surgery. Let me take a look or give you a second opinion. Let’s get rid of this!
Disc Bulge/ Herniation
The herniation of a disc is often extremely painful. It is a common event, and can be complicated by poor posture and lifting or bending in an improper fashion. Here is what happens. Typically, the disc act as a cushion on the spinal column and helps to protect the spinal cord from injury and irritation. If the disc becomes injured, the tissue of the disc can tear, leading to great pain, disability, numbness, and tingling into the extremities. Unfortunately, many turn to surgery to fix this problem, which in turn, causes the need for more surgeries. Our goal at Creekside Chiropractic is to take a non-surgical approach. However, sometimes surgery is needed that’s why we work with the best MRI imaging center and Surgeons in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is a painful condition more commonly referred to as heel pain. It can be caused by any number of overuse injuries. Unfortunately, if this reaches a dire enough point, surgery is the only option. Fortunately, at Creekside Chiropractic & Massage we have the appropriate treatment to prevent the need for surgery if intervention is sought early.
Numbness and Tingling
Numbness and tingling in the hands, arms, back, neck, face, legs, feet, or toes can be an indication of a serious condition related to nerve entrapment. When left untreated, this can lead to loss of sensory function, making the affected area of the body feel “dead.” At Creekside Chiropractic, we have conservative therapies that may be the long-term solution to your suffering.
Leg and Arm Pain
Radiating arm and leg pain is generally described as sharp and will shoot from the torso along the arm or leg. This pain often originates in the nerves and can be related to disc herniation or compression of nerves.
